| Comments: | Tomorrow is July. It is the month I dread all year. Brad was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in July 2002 and he died in July 2004 at age 15. It is hard for me to understand why or how I've survived this long without him. I will be attending the Compassionate Friends Conference this year. It will be my third conference in a few weeks. This will be my third conference. For some reason the conference makes July a bit easier for me. I think of you and your family often. I wish there was some way all of us grieving parents could make our children come back. It is the one and only thing I want - yet I will never get it here on Earth. It just sucks so bad what you guys are going through daily. I can't even begin to fathom the pain that must engulf you sometimes. I hate, hate, hate that you have to feel that pain. You will all survive this, we know that part, but why do you have to have a life with so much pain? Why does any of this happen? All I can tell you is that you do not grieve alone. | Comments: | Me again. What I was saying is that most people would not have made it half way through what you went through. Dont ever forget that you are an AMAZING MOM. And what mom doesnt lose a fuse here and there I do. We still pray that God gives you the strength to get through your days. One day you will find a happy medium because Tanners memories will never go away so how can the pain. And you know what Tan would be thinking that she would want you to live your life to the fullest with Hope and Brody just like you did with her. She would want you to have that relationship because noone will ever know when it is their time. That is the biggest life lesson that Tan taught us is spend as much time with your family and have fun because you never know. Nothing else matters just like the email you sent FAMILY Father and Mother I Love You. Love for kids is unconditional you will all come together and figure it out and like I said Hope and Brody are still young and you have lots of time with them. |

You are a GREAT mom, and shouldnt think any different. What you did for Tanner when she was with you was amazing and you would do it again in a heartbeat. Hope and Brody are so little that all they understand is that their mom is sad and will clearly understand later in life that noone deserves to go through what you are going through. And it sounds like you have a great support system to beable to have that time to yourself to be sad, because its ok and would in my opinion be kind of wierd if you were not. I think about the saying that time does heal, which I couldnt imagine healing from this, but in time I hope it gets easier. | Comments: | It is amazing what you are doing. I give you so much credit for everything. I know how dificult this is for you. I lost my sister to Ewing's sarcoma September 12, 2008. This cancer was found in her leg when she was 9 and she battled it off and on for 12 years. It matastisized to her lungs and she went through an amputation and lung transplant. It is hard to get through each day with out her. My mom is really having a hard time and she will not let anyone help her. We know that our angel got her wings and is flying high watching over us all. They will always be in our heart. Tanner is a beautiful girl. Thanks for the web page of encouragement. Kristen |
